Jaguar XF 2015 Review

Jaguar made known its intentions to exhibit the new model Jaguar XF 2015 at the March car show in Geneva. Available in the bodyworks of sedan and estate, this XF ended up with the name R-Sport and offers a compelling mix of killer efficiency and fashionable elegance.

Discriminating traits of the British company’s newcomer are a sporty front bumper, refreshed side skirts, staggering rear spoiler, black satin finish. The sedan sits tight on its 17-inch alloy wheels edged with tires of low rolling resistance.

As for the inner compartments, the Jaguar XF 2015 sports nothing new, except for several upholstery variations, stainless steel pedals and R-Sport badges. In the basic configuration, the car will receive the Winter Comfort package, which includes windshield and seat heating, parking assistance system, front parking sensors and a rearview camera.

The diesel 3-liter TDV6 and petrol 3-liter V6 are no longer available. The Jaguar XF 2015‘s power is labored by a 2.2-liter diesel motor (4-cylinders) that generates 164 hp and 400 Nm of torsion torque. The transmission is automatic, with 8 stages, which allows the XF R-Sport sedan to accelerate to 100 km/h in 10 sec and develop a max speed of 211 km/h.

From the view of fuel efficiency, prospective owners of the Jaguar XF 2015 can expect the car to consume average 4.8-5.1 liters of diesel fuel to travel a distance of 100 km, while the CO2 emission amounts to 129 g/km.
