Mini Clubman 2015

The conceptual model of the British Mini Clubman 2015 was first seen at the Geneva Show 2014. A bit later the production version was captured by press spies during a secret testing in Sweden. The latest rumors say that the second generation Mini Clubman will celebrate its premiere at the Paris Auto Show.

Worth noting, the concept and the production model are very similar. As compared with the first generation, the production of which has been suspended completely, the Mini Clubman 2015 grew noticeably bigger. It will be the largest model of all ever produced by the company. The new car is 26 cm longer, 17 cm wider and 2.5 cm taller – approximately as big as the BMW 3 Series Sports Wagon.

The spy photos show that the Mini Clubman 2015 sports four fully functional doors. The design of the car’s rear part was slightly changed, but no alteration was made to the tailgate. The classic headlights were replaced by modern horizontally extended ones.

Presumably, the new model will feature the same engine palette. It means the hatchback will be available with petrol engines of different power capacity and with a diesel motor. As for the petrol units, one of them will be turbocharged, with 3 cylinders, 1.5 liters and 134 horsepowers, while the other will boast 4 cylinders and 189 hp. The 1.5-liter 3-cylinder diesel engine will generate 114 hp.

The new second generation Mini Clubman 2015 is expected to enjoy huge popularity both in Britain and around the world.
