Splined Sway Bar

Splined sway bars are straight bars that support strong but hollow inner vicinity. The splined bars have a hollow inner surface and perform better than the conventional bar. These bars rotate once while they are moved from the connected arm. The maximum usage of these types of bars is seen in high-performance cars or racing cars. This is because they are smooth to install and offer better functions. Also, regulating music in the vehicle becomes easy throughout the day while the car is racing.

Hollow Sway Bar

Hollow sway bars are very similar to the design of solid bars. The major difference between the two is the inside of the bars. Internally, a hollow sway bar is hollow while a solid sway bar is not. The rods in a hollow bar give a long-life service and provide a high-performance ability. And these rods are more expensive when compared to solid metal rods. But, these bars are durable and lightweight. Even hollow sway bars are well-known for high-performance cars.

Active Sway Bar

An active sway bar can be considered an electronic system. The ECU or the engine control unit is operating to take control of this system. The ECU system uses sensors and actuators to change or regulate the car’s suspension system when it takes a turn. This is the lightest bar and provides the best performance and is mostly used for high-ended vehicles.
