This is impossible to fit everything into the schedule. Before I left, I made a list of all the things I wanted to do in Chicago. Let’s say I was a little too fired up and passionate.

Because it was only enough for a two-month stay (at least). I had a friend in the city who made sure I had the most satisfactory time possible. To help you in planning your vacation, below is a list of the best things to do in Chicago. This list is helpful for first-timers.

Enjoy the 360 views of Chicago

I don’t know about you what type of person you are. But one of the first things I do when I visit a new city is seek out a high vantage point. It may be scaling a historic church in Amsterdam or hiking up a stronghold in Montenegro’s Kotor. In this case, it’s taking an elevator to the 94th story of the John Hancock building. It is one of Chicago’s highest structures. So if you are new in Chicago so the Limo Service Downtown Chicago for Sightseeing is great and very helpful for you.

An observation platform in Chicago provides a spectacular 360-degree view of the city. It even has a bar where you can relax and enjoy a drink while taking in the scenery. If you’re looking for more excitement, try the TILT, a glass and steel platform. The platform tilts outward, causing you to lean forward. And receive a downward-facing view of the Magnificent Mile 300 meters below.

Make your day by shopping at magnificent mile

Walking around the city’s most famous shopping district is another fascinating activity. The Magnificent Mile is the elasticity of Michigan Avenue. It is beautiful and has upscale stores, boutiques, fine dining, and top hotels. Famous structures such as the Chicago Water Tower and the Wrigley Building exist.

It’s also a great area to go shopping at, one of the three major shopping complexes. There are some exciting activities. The activities are escape room adventures at The Escape Game’s neighboring site. Residents of this neighborhood delve deep into their wallets.

Behind 5th Avenue and Rodeo Drive, it is the seventh most expensive place in the US. Different painted dog statues can also be found along the Magnificent Mile. All these sculptures were made to honor police officers. Keep your eyes peeled for any of these adorable German Shepherd Dogs!

Enjoy a Drink at London House Rooftop Bar

Do you like drinking a martini on a rooftop bar while watching boats drift down the Chicago River? If this seems like your kind of thing, then visit to one of the city’s best-located hotels’ rooftop bars. The London House Chicago is a 4-star hotel located in a 1920s building on the Riverwalk. While drinking a great cocktail on the rooftop bar, take in luxury views of the Chicago River.

Escape the City Life in Millennium Park

A stroll in Millenium Park is a must-do if you’re visiting Chicago for the first time! This public park is one of the most popular free attractions, owing to the famed Cloud Gate. It is famous as “the Bean” that can exist there.

Besides the amusing sculpture, it is an excellent place to escape daily life’s hustle and bustle. Thanks to places like Lurie Garden, there’s a nice green refuge in the heart of downtown Chicago. Further, the Boeing Galleries feature unique outdoor art. And the Jay Pritzker Pavilion hosts a free music event.

Even if there isn’t a show at the pavilion, it’s a great place to sit on a blanket. So, have a picnic, and watch the sunset. My friend also recommended that I go to Millennium Park in Chicago during the holidays. There will be an ice rink, carousels, and a plethora of other exciting activities!

Along Chicago Riverwalk Take a Stroll

The historic Chicago Riverwalk allows you to enjoy a stroll along the city’s lovely river. The Riverwalk may appear to be nothing more than a pedestrian shoreline at first glance. But it is much more. Drinks can be had at a variety of cool outdoor pubs. Or lunch can be had at one of the many restaurants along the shore.

There is a museum dedicated to the Chicago River which can be visited by Limo Service Downtown Chicago for Sightseeing. As well as some cool outdoor art galleries along the walk. Do you have a Chicago River kayak trip or any other exciting boat excursion? If you’re searching for something a little more adventurous, visit this place.

The Riverwalk is a unique and bustling spot that you won’t find anyplace else in Chicago. Whether it’s day or night, you will enjoy too much. I can’t tell you how many times I went there during my time in the city. I fell in love with this area because of its peaceful and fun attitude. No doubt, spending time there is one of the greatest things to do in Chicago!

Explore the Hip West Loop Neighborhood

Limo Service Downtown Chicago for Sightseeing is the best option for the next location you should visit is not what you expect to find in the city. West Loop was once an industrial zone. Today it is a fashionable neighborhood noted for its excellent food and nightlife. Most of the buildings in the West Loop were once warehouses. Now all these buildings are home to some of Chicago’s best eateries. Due to its cool industrial ambiance, Fulton Market has become a favorite hangout spot. Many residents love the place due to its unlimited features.

The variety of restaurants and cafés is enormous. Sawada Coffee is one that I can recommend to you as the top priority. This edgy coffee shop is not shown inside a graphitized structure. It is the ideal spot for a decent cup of your daily caffeine fix. If you dislike coffee, try their “Military Latte.” It is a special Matcha Latte creation. You’ll adore it!

Spend a lovely evening at Noyane’s rooftop

The LondonHouse rooftop bar and the view from up there are difficult to better. But, None on the rooftop of the Conrad Chicago is another fantastic option. Although the views aren’t quite as stunning as those from London House. But the ambiance is as good, if not better. Modern furniture, a warm fire pit, and a spacious bar area. You may order any type of drink that is available. If you are hungry, don’t hesitate to sample some of the Japanese-Peruvian restaurants.

At Navy Pier Ride the Ferris Wheel

It’s time to leave the city’s core and head towards Lake Michigan for the next item on the list. Navy Pier is a 1-kilometer-long pier on the lake’s edge. Because there are so many great outdoor attractions. So, you could spend a whole day at this pier. A sensory maze, a botanical garden, and a musical carousel are a few of them.

The Chicago Ferris Wheel is difficult to miss in the heart of the pier. This 60-meter-high structure rotates at a slow speed. It gives some of the top skyline interpretations. Single-ride tickets cost $12 for youngsters and $19 for adults. It’s not a cheap pleasure, but it’s a lot of fun. The view of the city skyline from the lake is spectacular.

Wander Around Old Town and explore its most appealing & beautiful cafe

Since I mentioned the West Loop, you know that Chicago isn’t all about skyscrapers. Apart from downtown, there is a slew of other interesting places to visit. One of which is the lovely Old Town neighborhood. Old Town resembles a town in the UK thanks to its Victorian-era architecture. It’s a charming neighborhood with modest stores, old-school bars, and artisanal cafés. The 3 Arts Club Café inside Restoration Hardware is a home furnishing store. It is one of these coffee shops and one of the greatest spots for breakfast in Chicago.

I was speechless the first time I walked in because I’d never seen such a lovely café. It looked like a wedding location. It comes up with crystal chandeliers hanging from a glass ceiling. There is a fountain in the middle of the room and plants in every corner. One of the nicest things in Chicago is sitting beneath those gigantic chandeliers. So, sit there with a decent cup of coffee – or, in my case, a Chai Latte!

From Willis Tower Skydeck Look Down at the City

The next activity is not for the faint of heart or those afraid of heights. The John Hancock Center and the Trump Tower are two of Chicago’s many tall skyscrapers. The Willis Tower is the most impressive of them all. This more than 440-meter-high skyscraper is a beautiful design and was completed in 1973. It remained the world’s tallest structure for about 25 years following its completion.

The “Skydeck” observation deck exists on the 103rd floor. You have to ride in an elevator that takes only 60 seconds to reach the top. You can feel the change in pressure ascent, which can be a little unnerving. Soon you’ll see why the Skydeck is one of Chicago’s most recognized attractions. Once you reach the 103rd floor, you will know the fact. Of course, most visitors come here to take in the breathtaking views. But there is so much to do and more to see.

Glass balconies span more than one meter from the front.  It has allowed visitors to enjoy the city differently since 2009. You’ll be able to watch cars driving on the streets beneath your feet. You will feel this driving as soon as you enter the glass boxes. It’s a strange and frightening sensation to “stand above” the city. Also, don’t be unable to remember to capture some beautiful moments. Because Skydeck is one of Chicago’s best Instagram destinations

Eat Your Way over Chinatown

Book Limo Service Downtown Chicago for Sightseeing, New York City, Los Angeles, and, of course, Chicago is where you may find it. I’m talking about Chinatown! It’s the third and last neighborhood on my list of the most incredible things to do in Chicago.  This is the most vibrant and delicious area. You can dine at regional restaurants, tiny eateries, or dim sum restaurants. You can relax with a calming cup of hot tea at one of the many authentic teahouses. If you have forgotten about your fill of cuisine, it’s time to explore this neighborhood’s heart.

Enjoy and Appreciate the Skyline from North Avenue Beach

Last but not least, pay a visit to North Avenue Beach, which is one of my favorite places in Chicago. North Avenue Beach, near Lincoln Park, is one of the city’s most popular public beaches. It’s a popular area for swimmers, sunbathers, and volleyball players during the summer.

In the off-season, the lakefront walk is bustling with rollerblades, cyclists, and folks. My companion and I visited twice, and each time I was happy and blown away by the stunning skyline vista. We arrived here for the first time during the day. And on my last evening, we decided to return to watch the sunset.

I remember sitting there and appreciating the dazzling skyline reflected in the water. It became more reflecting as it began to get dark. I’m not sure how much time had elapsed when a runner passed me and came to a halt. He first gazed at the buildings, then turned around and exclaimed, “Isn’t it lovely? Because I was thunderstruck by my state of mind.

At that time there was one thing that was yes. I was both thrilled and sad because I had to leave this wonderful city the next day. This was without a doubt one of the most unforgettable moments of my life. It was the perfect finale of an incredible trip to Chicago. So, I expect you will enjoy it as much as I did!
